Peter is currently taking workers’ compensation cases that involve causation issues, MMI dates, and impairment ratings. If a case is unusual and requires expert medical testimony, he would like to take a look at it. The current cases in this category include a civil court case involving RSD/CRPS, an extent of injury case involving endocrine problems caused by a brain injury, and a case involving extent to radiculitis.
Another part of the practice involves representation of doctors before TDI/DWC and the TMB. TDI/DWC cases, for the most part, involve doctors about whom the Office of the Medical Advisor has received complaints from carriers or patients. Peter is also involved with a clinic that offers injured workers with long term injuries their best chance of returning to work.
